Please see below some Frequently Asked Questions. If you have a question that isn’t listed below, please do get in touch.

Outdoor sessions, which I encourage all of my clients to try, are based on discussions held in a stimulating natural environment. This gives clients the mental and physical space to explore their thoughts. Of course, I offer online coaching whenever clients prefer. I also offer in-person coaching over longer periods where I visit you in your home environment.

While coaching shares many elements with forms of therapy, it is different in a number of important ways. Not being tied to medical outputs allows us to work on an entirely flexible and intensely personal level, incorporating ideas and practices from philosophy, non-western cultures, business, and other areas not available to medical therapists.

While the freedom to interact with clients in a non-medical way is an important part of my practice, it is also important that you seek medical help if you feel in any way that you need it, as I cannot offer medical advice.

Of course, I work with clients all over the world in this way.

If you’re an online client, or looking for a bespoke coaching visit, you can be based anywhere in the world – get in touch and we’ll make it work.

For in-person sessions, I’m based in Exeter and offer a few locations around Devon, depending on your needs. For indoor sessions, I prefer to visit clients in their own environment if they are local. If that isn’t possible, I have an office. For outdoor sessions, I typically use Exeter quay-side if clients wish to be central, or Haldon Forest and Ellerhayes Bridge near Killerton House for more scenic sessions.

My practice is active as opposed to passive. I seek to think creatively to engage and challenge clients, but in a kind and supportive way. Although I provide a safe space for you to express whatever you need to, I offer much more than just a passive place for you to vent. We take creative approaches to identify, think through, and solve the challenges you face, and set you on track to continue. I’m not aiming to keep you with me for years: you need ways to engage your challenges today, and that’s what I aim to do.

Please get in touch with me and we can discuss this.
